Pakistan Cricket Team Returns Home After Asia Cup Final Defeat

Lahore – Members of Pakistan’s cricket team returned home after participating in the Asia Cup T20 tournament.
The players landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport late at night on an international flight from Dubai.
Among those arriving in Lahore were team captain Salman Ali Agha, along with Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, and Salman Mirza.
The Asia Cup final, played for the first time between Pakistan and India in Dubai, ended in disappointment for the green shirts. Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for 146 runs. In reply, India successfully chased the target in the final over with five wickets remaining, securing their ninth Asia Cup title.
This marked the first-ever Pakistan-India clash in the final in the 41-year history of the tournament. India had won the toss and opted to field, a decision that paid off as they restricted Pakistan and later achieved the target in a tense finish.
