Pakistan day to be celebrated on a limited scale with traditional enthusiasm

Islamabad—Sources revealed that the government has decided to mark Pakistan Day on March 23 with traditional zeal but on a limited scale due to the ongoing holy month of Ramadan.
According to senior officials, the annual military parade, a key feature of the celebrations, will take place but on a smaller scale. The event will be held on the premises of the President’s House, with President Asif Ali Zardari as the chief guest.
Despite the scaled-down format, all three branches of the armed forces will participate in the parade. Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets will also conduct a fly-past, while the Pakistan Army’s pipe band will deliver a special performance.
Dignitaries, including foreign ambassadors and high-ranking officials, have been invited to attend the event.
