Pakistan secured a 99-run victory over Zimbabwe in the third and final One Day International at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Thursday, clinching the series 2-1. The Green Shirts’ dominant performance sealed their victory after a series that was tied 1-1 before today’s clash.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, setting a challenging total for the hosts. The team had already levelled the series in Tuesday’s match with a stunning 10-wicket victory, led by openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique, who played flawless innings to help Pakistan recover from an early setback.

The third ODI followed a similar pattern, with Pakistan asserting their dominance. The win extended Pakistan’s impressive record in One Day Internationals against Zimbabwe, having won 55 out of 64 encounters between the two teams. Zimbabwe has only managed six victories, with two matches ending without a result.

Historically, Pakistan has been the dominant side in the bilateral ODI series, having won 19 out of 21 series contested against Zimbabwe. The hosts, on the other hand, have drawn two series in 1994/95 and 2013.
