In a significant step to improve public services, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the establishment of 24/7 passport processing counters at NADRA mega centres across Pakistan. This initiative, which aims to streamline passport issuance, was set into motion following the minister’s directives.

As part of the rollout, ten passport processing counters have been inaugurated at two key locations in Karachi: Nazimabad and Siemens Chowrangi Site. These counters will remain operational around the clock to better serve citizens and expedite processing.

Mustafa Jamal Qazi, Director General of Immigration, confirmed that the 24/7 passport service would be expanded nationwide. Offices in Islamabad have already been offering round-the-clock services, and other centres, such as Karachi’s Awami Markaz and Lahore’s Garden Town, are also providing pasport processing without interruption.

Qazi further assured the public that the previous delays in issuance had been resolved, ensuring a more efficient and timely delivery process for applicants. The new initiative is expected to significantly reduce wait times and improve accessibility for citizens across the country.
