Pakistan Launches Zero-Interest Electric Scooter Scheme

Islamabad: The government has launched the Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification (PAVE) scheme, allowing citizens to buy electric scooters on zero per cent markup with easy monthly instalments.
Key Features of the PAVE Scheme
- Citizens can now purchase Yadea scooter models M3H, T5L, and VELAX.
- A ₨50,000 subsidy will be given on every scooter.
- Buyers can pay in 24 interest-free instalments over two years.
- Each scooter comes with a 4-year or 50,000 km warranty.
- The scheme aims to promote eco-friendly transport and reduce urban pollution.
How to Apply:
Applicants can register online by visiting 👉 https://pave.gov.pk/register and submitting their CNIC and address details.
The government hopes this initiative will make green transport affordable and boost the local EV industry.
PPP’s Free Pink Scooty Scheme for Women
Earlier, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari distributed free pink electric scooters to working women in Karachi.
At the ceremony, attended by CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, Bilawal said Sindh is the first province to introduce electric buses in Pakistan, and the PPP government is committed to supporting working women.
Criteria for Distribution
- Scooters will be distributed through a transparent ballot in the presence of media.
- A committee of Excise, Transport, and Finance officials and media will monitor the process.

- Visit the Sindh Mass Transit Authority’s website.
- Go to the “Projects” section.
- Click on “EV Scooty Ballot Form – Application Form”.
- Fill the form, attach documents, and submit.
