Pakistan Stock Exchange Crashes Over 4,000 Points

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a massive downturn on the first trading day of the week, with the KSE-100 Index plunging by more than 4,000 points during intraday trading.
The market opened with a steep 1,711-point drop, bringing the index down to 161,386 points. The bearish trend continued throughout the day, with losses gradually deepening to 1,237, 2,593, 3,848, and eventually 4,130 points, pushing the index to a low of 158,967 points.
Analysts attribute the sharp decline to rising political uncertainty, investor concerns over economic policies, and a dip in foreign investment sentiment.
Market experts advise caution, as volatility is expected to persist in the short term.
