Pakistan wins toss, elects to bowl against New Zealand in ICC Champions Trophy opener

KARACHI: Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first against New Zealand in the opening match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the National Bank Cricket Stadium.
This marks a historic moment as Pakistan hosts an international cricket event after a gap of 29 years, bringing excitement to cricket fans across the country.
The eight-team tournament will be played across three venues in Pakistan—Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi—as well as in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The competition is set to run from February 19 to March 9, featuring top international teams battling for the prestigious trophy.
