Pakistan’s Foreign Reserves Stand at $19.91 Billion

Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $19,917.5 million as of July 18, 2025, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
In its weekly report issued Thursday, the central bank noted that SBP’s own reserves decreased by $69 million, bringing the total to $14,456.6 million, primarily due to external debt repayments during the week.
On the other hand, net foreign reserves held by commercial banks registered a modest increase of $29.4 million, reaching $5,460.9 million.
