Pakistan’s IT exports reach an all-time high.
Pakistan’s IT exports have soared to record levels, achieving the highest figures in the country’s history. According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the country’s IT exports have seen a remarkable 34% increase, reaching $1.2 billion in the current fiscal year.
The central bank’s report highlighted that in October, Pakistan’s IT exports alone amounted to $330 million. This surge in exports has also been accompanied by a notable rise in the number of global clients for Pakistani IT companies.
The growth in the IT export sector reflects the increasing recognition of Pakistani IT companies on the global stage, with more international clients seeking services from the country’s expanding tech industry. The continued growth of IT exports is expected to be a significant contributor to Pakistan’s economy, helping improve the country’s overall trade balance.
