Pakistan’s towering fast bowler, Mohammad Irfan, has officially announced his retirement from international cricket. The 7-foot-1-inch bowler, known for his unique height and pace, decided to call it a day after a long and memorable career representing Pakistan.

In his retirement statement, Mohammad Irfan expressed his gratitude to his teammates, coaches, and all the supporters who stood by him throughout his journey. He emphasised that it was time for the younger generation to have the opportunity to play at the international level. However, Irfan confirmed that he would continue to play in domestic cricket and league competitions.

Irfan’s international career spanned over several years, during which he represented Pakistan in 4 Tests, 60 One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and 22 T20 matches. He claimed 10 wickets in Test matches, 83 wickets in ODIs, and 16 wickets in T20s.
