ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its strategy to utilise spin-friendly conditions for the upcoming two-match Test series against West Indies, aiming to capitalise on their spinners’ strengths.

PCB decided matches will be played in Multan, where pitches are being specially prepared to challenge the West Indian batsmen. Key spinners Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali are set to return to the squad for this crucial series.

Sajid Khan, who was left out of the squad for the South Africa series due to pace-friendly conditions, will now be a key part of the strategy against West Indies.

The PCB has finalised discussions on the composition of the Test squad and side matches, with the West Indies team scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on January 6. The first Test will begin on January 17, followed by the second Test starting on January 25, both at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
