Peshawar hosts the 15th annual vintage and classic car show

PESHAWAR: The 15th Annual Vintage and Classic Car Show took place in Peshawar, organised by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority in collaboration with Land Rover Peshawar. The event, which attracted car enthusiasts and visitors from all over, showcased a stunning collection of vintage vehicles dating from 1935 to 1980.
The car show featured a wide variety of iconic classic cars, including Rolls Royce, Mercedes, Ferrari, Cadillac, Porsche, MG, Chevrolet, Mustang, and many others, representing the golden era of automobile design. These classic cars were admired for their beauty, craftsmanship, and historical significance.
Speaking about the event, a spokesperson for the Tourism Authority, Mohammad Saad, highlighted the cultural aspects of the show. “Along with the vintage cars, the event was further enriched by traditional performances, including Rubaab music and Khatak dance, which delighted the attendees,” Saad stated.
In addition to the exhibition, a unique rally of these classic cars is set to take place, starting from Peshawar. The rally will travel through Islamabad, Faisalabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Moro, and the Thar Desert and finally reach Karachi, where the event will culminate on December 8.
