The Royal Saudi Air Force warmly welcomed him with an escort of F-15 fighter jets as he entered Saudi airspace. Onboard his special flight, the Prime Minister expressed deep gratitude to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and King Salman bin Abdulaziz. He called the aerial reception a symbol of strong brotherly ties. The visit reflects the long-standing friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Shehbaz Sharif is visiting Saudi Arabia on the Crown Prince’s invitation. He is leading a high-level delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, and several federal ministers. Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi is also part of the team. This visit comes soon after PM Shehbaz attended the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha. The two countries are likely to sign several important agreements during this visit. These deals will cover energy, investment, and other vital sectors. The agreements will reflect both nations’ shared vision for growth and peace. Strengthening economic ties remains a top priority. The visit will help explore new areas of collaboration for mutual benefit.

After Saudi Arabia, PM Shehbaz will travel to the United Kingdom. There, he will meet British officials and discuss deeper bilateral cooperation. On September 21, he will fly to New York for the United Nations General Assembly session. A day later, he is expected to attend a High-Level Conference on the Two-State Solution for Palestine.
