PM Shehbaz orders third-party audit of Ramazan Relief Package

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed a third-party audit of the Ramazan Relief Package to ensure transparency and effectiveness.

Chairing a review meeting in Islamabad, the prime minister acknowledged the contributions of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), NADRA, and technology companies in ensuring a fair distribution of relief funds.

He emphasized that the Ramazan Relief Package has been implemented nationwide, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, without discrimination.

PM Shehbaz highlighted that relief payments are being provided to deserving individuals through a secure and transparent digital wallet system, making the process efficient and accessible.

The third-party audit is expected to evaluate the distribution process, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it the most during the holy month of Ramazan.
