PM Shehbaz Sharif telephone call with Iranian President, expression of solidarity with the Iranian people

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which both leaders exchanged warm greetings on the occasions of Eid-ul-Fitr and Nowruz.
The Pakistani premier conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the Iranian leadership and people, emphasizing the importance of shared cultural and religious ties between the two neighboring countries.
President Pezeshkian responded warmly, extending his good wishes to the people of Pakistan and reaffirming the spirit of brotherhood between the two nations.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep concern over the ongoing regional tensions and conveyed Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Iran during this challenging time.
