PM Shehbaz Sharif to Hold Key Meetings in Beijing on Investment and Cooperation

Beijing: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang today in Beijing. The discussions will focus on investment, technology cooperation, and other key areas of mutual interest.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will also hold several high-level meetings and engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, boosting economic cooperation, and expanding partnerships in multiple sectors.
Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to meet with China’s Minister of Information Technology and Industry, Li Licheng, to explore opportunities for collaboration in the IT and industrial fields.
Later in the day, the Prime Minister will chair the second edition of the Pakistan-China Business-to-Business Investment Conference in Beijing. The conference will review the outcomes of the first edition held in Shenzhen in June 2024 and outline a roadmap for future joint ventures and business initiatives.
Analysts view this visit as an important step toward further strengthening economic and trade relations between Pakistan and China.
