PM Shehbaz Sharif to Visit UAE for High-Level Bilateral Talks

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday, accompanied by a senior-level delegation. The visit underscores the close and historic relationship between Pakistan and the UAE, rooted in mutual respect, trust, and longstanding cooperation.
As per the Foreign Office, the Pakistani delegation will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, several federal ministers, and top government officials. The prime minister is expected to hold a series of high-profile meetings with the UAE leadership, including a key bilateral engagement with the UAE president and ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The talks are expected to cover a broad spectrum of topics, including regional and global developments, as well as bilateral matters related to trade, investment, energy, and labour cooperation. The discussions aim to deepen existing ties and explore new areas for collaboration.
According to the Foreign Office, the visit will play a vital role in reinforcing the strong brotherly bond between the two nations. It will also help expand strategic and economic partnerships, enhance cooperation across multiple sectors, and support efforts for regional peace and prosperity.
