Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on Thursday that Pakistan’s journey towards development has been significantly supported by its brotherly nations. He made these comments during a meeting with the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) delegation in Islamabad.

The delegation included PBA Chairman Mian Amer Mahmood, Mir Ibrahim Rehman, Naz Afreen Sehgal, Shakeel Masood, Nadeem Malik, and Kazim Khan. The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Information, were also present at the meeting.

During the discussion, Prime Minister Sharif emphasised that, after stabilising the country’s economy, the government had resumed the path of economic growth that had been interrupted in 2018. He credited the period under former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s leadership as a golden era of economic development for Pakistan.

“The significant decline in inflation and interest rates is a result of the hard work put in by the government’s economic team,” said the Prime Minister, acknowledging the efforts to improve the national economy.
