PMDC Announces MDCAT 2025 Date

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially announced the date for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025. The nationwide entrance exam is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
The announcement was made during a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, chaired by Dr Mahesh Kumar Malani.
Officials from PMDC briefed the committee on the arrangements for the upcoming test, confirming that the MDCAT will be conducted simultaneously across all provinces to ensure uniformity and transparency in the admission process.
The MDCAT is a mandatory exam for students seeking admission to medical and dental colleges across Pakistan. Every year, thousands of candidates appear for this highly competitive test, which evaluates applicants in subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, and English.
