Police Arrest Fugitive Accused of Assaulting Woman on Marriage

Rawalpindi police arrested a fugitive accused of assaulting a woman under the false promise of marriage. The suspect had been wanted since 2024.

According to officials, the accused committed the crime with accomplices. The group allegedly assaulted the woman after deceiving her with a marriage proposal.

Civil Lines Police traced the fugitive using human intelligence and other investigative resources. After sustained efforts, the suspect was finally taken into custody.

SP Potohar Talha Wali confirmed the arrest and said that the accomplices had already been detained earlier. Their cases are under process.

He added that the fugitive will now be presented with solid evidence in court. Authorities assured that justice will be delivered to the victim.
