President Zardari and PM Shehbaz Sharif condemn firing on government convoy in Kurram

ISLAMABAD – President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the recent attack on a government convoy in the Bagan area of Kurram, which targeted official vehicles.
In a statement, President Zardari stressed the importance of taking strict action against those responsible for the attack, stating that they seek to undermine peace efforts in the region. He described the attackers as enemies of the public, whose goal is to sow chaos and instability.
“The miscreants behind this act are determined to disrupt the peace and tranquillity of Kurram,” said President Zardari. “We must ensure they do not succeed in their malicious intentions.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also condemned the attack, emphasising that it was an attempt to derail the ongoing peace agreements in the area. He assured the public that those attempting to disturb law and order would not be allowed to succeed in their efforts.
“We will not allow any forces to sabotage the peace process,” Prime Minister Sharif said, calling for unity in the face of such acts of violence.
