PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar announces third session of negotiations

ISLAMABAD— Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Barrister Gohar, revealed that the third session of negotiations between PTI and the government is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday. During this session, PTI is expected to present its demands in writing to resolve ongoing political issues.
Speaking to the media outside the Islamabad District and Sessions Court, Barrister Gohar expressed confidence that the government would seriously consider PTI’s demands. He stressed the importance of approaching negotiations with sincerity, open hearts, and good intentions. “If we proceed with genuine intent, solutions to all issues can be achieved,” he said.
Gohar also highlighted the ongoing plight of political prisoners, particularly members of PTI, who have been incarcerated for nearly two years. “Our political prisoners have suffered enough. They have been denied bail, and their release is not just a matter of justice but also essential for the health of our democracy,” he added.
The PTI leader also pointed to the legal challenges former Prime Minister Imran Khan faced, calling the charges against him baseless and politically motivated. “Multiple cases have been fabricated against Imran Khan, who has committed no crime. He is a political prisoner, and his release is now more crucial than ever,” Gohar said, emphasising the need for his prompt release.
