PTI Leader Hammad Azhar Decides to Surrender Before Court and Seek Bail

Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Hammad Azhar has decided to surrender before a court and formally file for bail, sources close to the matter confirmed on Friday.

According to insiders, the decision was made after detailed consultations with his legal team and close associates. Azhar has instructed his legal counsel to begin preparations for his court appearance without delay. He has reportedly stated that he is ready to face jail if bail is not granted.

Hammad Azhar had been in hiding for nearly two years, following the events of May 9, after which several legal cases were filed against him. His name had been linked to multiple FIRs, and authorities had been seeking his arrest since then.

His recent public appearance at the funeral of his father, veteran politician Mian Muhammad Azhar, marked his first return to the public eye since going underground.
