Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Urges Citizens in Flood Zones

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has appealed to citizens in flood-prone areas to cooperate with authorities and move to safer locations.

She said that losses to homes, crops, and livestock are being assessed and the government will ensure full compensation for all victims. According to her, the top priority at this stage is saving lives, and cooperation with rescue teams and local administration is crucial.

Maryam Nawaz added that a transparent assessment of damages will be carried out and every affected person in Punjab will receive their due rights. She assured that no one will be left behind.

Addressing the people, she said: “Please prioritise the safety of yourselves and your children, and move to safer places immediately.”
