Sahibzada Hamid Raza resigns from PTI’s political and core committee

Sahibzada Hamid Raza, a prominent member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has resigned from both the political and core committees of the party, sources confirm. In a significant political move, Raza has also made the decision to step down from his position in the National Assembly.
Sources reveal that Raza plans to formally submit his resignation from the National Assembly in a meeting with PTI’s founder, Chairman Imran Khan. This resignation follows a period of growing internal party differences, particularly after the party’s recent protests on November 24.
According to sources, Raza’s decision to resign comes in the wake of criticism directed at the party’s direction and mounting disagreements within the leadership. His resignation marks another chapter of instability within PTI, highlighting the increasing discontent among key figures.
The decision is expected to have implications for PTI, as the party faces challenges both internally and externally. The move may lead to further changes in the party’s political landscape, with speculations about more resignations in the coming days.
As of now, it remains to be seen how PTI leadership will respond to Raza’s resignation and whether it will affect the party’s political strategy in the months ahead. Further developments are expected in the coming days as Raza prepares to meet with Imran Khan to formally tender his resignation.
