Saudi Arabia opens new doors for Pakistani travellers

ISLAMABAD: In 2025, Saudi Arabia will rank among the world’s most popular vacation destinations, providing Pakistani tourists with fascinating new options.
According to a news statement issued by the Saudi Arabia Tourism Authority on Friday, the nation is expanding its accessibility and variety of experiences beyond religious tourism, with over 2.7 million Pakistani tourists expected to visit in 2024 and 2.87 million expected in 2025.
Saudi Arabia is expanding travel in several areas, such as cultural discovery, destination weddings, and travel by women alone.
The Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh in 2024 was dominated by Pakistani esports players, who outperformed more than 1,700 rivals and demonstrated their growing skills on the international gaming scene.
Additionally, the LEAP Information Technology Expo had the largest-ever turnout of Pakistani exhibitors, underscoring their expanding clout in the IT sector.
37 Pakistani travel agencies are actively participating in Saudi Arabia’s vibrant event scene, demonstrating the impressive expansion of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. The Saudi Click Campaign will showcase the nation’s diverse cultural experiences to increase tourism.
To entice Pakistani customers from the media and fashion sectors to select Saudi Arabia as their next creative and commercial partner, the campaign will highlight the country using vivid colours.
Saudi Arabia’s most recent efforts to provide smooth travel experiences include Group Inclusive Tours (GITs), which make group travel simple, and special last-minute Ramazan offers, which let guests immerse themselves in the spiritual spirit of the Holy Month.
