Saudi Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Dies at 81

Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh, died on Tuesday at the age of 81. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) confirmed his death, stating he had been unwell for some time. As the Kingdom’s highest religious authority, he led the Council of Senior Scholars. His passing marks a major loss for the Islamic world.
