Scenes from America’s new prison, ‘Alligator Alcatraz’, have been revealed

A new video has surfaced showing the harsh conditions inside a migrant detention center deep in Florida’s Everglades—dubbed ‘Alligator Alcatraz’.
The footage reveals rows of metal bunk beds enclosed in cage-like dormitories, each surrounded by chain-link fences topped with barbed wire. The facility has the capacity to detain up to 3,000 individuals.
During his recent tour of the site, Donald Trump declared that it would be used to hold the “most menacing migrants”, referring to them as “some of the most vicious people on the planet.”
Critics have raised concerns over the inhumane conditions and the language used to describe the detainees, calling it part of a growing pattern of anti-migrant policies in the U.S.
