Security forces foil terrorist infiltration attempts along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border

Zhob, Balochistan: Security forces successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by terrorists along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, gunning down five militants in the Sambaza area of Zhob district last night.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces detected the movement of a group of Khwarij militants attempting to infiltrate Pakistan from Afghanistan. The troops swiftly engaged the terrorists, preventing their entry into Pakistani territory.

Pakistan has consistently called on the interim Afghan government to improve border management on their side of the border to prevent such infiltration attempts. The government has urged Afghanistan to fulfil its responsibility in denying Khwarij militants the use of Afghan soil to launch attacks against Pakistan.
