Pak Business Train Ghotki

Seven bogies of the Pak Business Train traveling from Lahore to Karachi detached near Ghotki, Sindh, railway sources reported. The incident occurred close to Mohammadpur when the engine moved several kilometers ahead while the bogies remained behind. Authorities confirmed the detachment disrupted the train’s journey and required immediate attention from railway teams.

Railway officials said a coupler malfunction caused the bogies to separate from the engine. The issue forced a delay as rescue and repair operations were arranged. Passengers in the detached bogies were kept informed while waiting for assistance. Officials assured that safety procedures were followed to prevent any injuries.

It took about four hours before the detached bogies could be attended to. At the time of reporting, the rescue team had not yet reached the site. Authorities dispatched a repair team to fix the coupler and reconnect the train. Meanwhile, the engine returned to the bogies to prepare for the reconnection.

They also assured passengers that services would continue safely after the incident. The delay, although inconvenient, did not cause injuries or major safety hazards.

This incident highlights the importance of regular maintenance and monitoring of railway equipment. Authorities urged passengers to remain patient during repairs. They also encouraged reporting any irregularities to railway staff. The Pak Business Train service is expected to return to its normal schedule once repairs are completed.
