Sindh Government announces public holidays

The Sindh Government has declared a public holiday on December 25 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. In addition, the government has also announced a holiday on December 26 for the Christian community in celebration of Christmas.
According to the Sindh Government, the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam’s birth anniversary will be marked with great enthusiasm and respect. The celebrations will begin with a 21-gun salute in both federal and provincial capitals. In Karachi, a formal change of guards ceremony will take place at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam, paying tribute to the nation’s founding
