Sindh Government Announces Rs 4.65 Million for Boxer Aliya Soomro

Karachi: The Sindh government has announced a financial grant of Rs 4.65 million for Aliya Soomro, a talented boxer from Lyari.
Sindh government spokesperson Nadir Gabol said that Aliya Soomro will represent Pakistan in Abu Dhabi against an Indian opponent. “Our daughters are our pride, and Sindh will never leave its talented youth alone,” he stated.
The spokesperson clarified that this financial support is not charity but an investment in the potential of the youth. He added that after her success in Thailand, the government will continue to support her in this new international milestone fully.
Nadir Gabol emphasised that the Sindh government is committed to the development of youth in sports and education. “From Lyari to Larkana, we want our young people to have access to international platforms,” he said.
