Sindh Governor announces record-breaking fireworks display at Governor House to celebrate New Year

KARACHI, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has announced a spectacular fireworks display at the Governor’s House to mark the arrival of the new year. The event, which aims to bring together people from all walks of life, will be held on December 31 and promises to be a memorable occasion for Karachi.
To make the celebrations more inclusive, Governor Tessori revealed that all five gates of the Governor House will be open to the public for the event. “We want to share the joy of the new year with everyone,” Governor Tessori said, emphasising the significance of unity and collective celebration.
The highlight of the evening will be a grand 40-minute fireworks show, which is expected to set an international record for its scale and grandeur. The governor expressed his excitement over the record-breaking display, which will serve as a visual treat for not only Karachi residents but also for people beyond the city.
Governor Tessori also shared his wishes for 2024, praying that the new year brings peace, security, stability, economic growth, and prosperity to the people of Pakistan.
