Sindh Governor Seeks Judicial Commission Over Gul Plaza Tragedy

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has written a letter to the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, seeking the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the deadly incident at Gul Plaza. The tragic fire caused serious loss of life and raised public concern, prompting calls for accountability through a Gul Plaza tragedy judicial commission to ensure transparency and justice.

In his letter, the governor described the fire incident of January 17 as extremely serious and heartbreaking. He stressed that an independent, fair, and credible investigation is necessary to uncover the truth and address public concerns about safety failures.

The governor stated that a judicial inquiry would help identify the real causes of the fire, possible regulatory gaps, and the condition of safety arrangements inside the building. He emphasized that if negligence or legal violations are found, those responsible must be clearly identified and held accountable.
