Sindh Governor Urges Peace After Dumper Accident Violence

KARACHI – Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has expressed deep concern over the violent protests that erupted following an accident involving a dumper truck, in which a man was injured. The angry mobs set fire to dumpers and blocked roads, causing further disruption in the city.
Governor Tessori acknowledged the public’s anger over reckless driving and the dangers posed by heavy traffic, which has led to fatalities in the past. However, he emphasized that resorting to violence and taking the law into one’s own hands could never be justified under any circumstances.
“While it is understandable that citizens are upset, we must uphold the law and remain peaceful. Vigilantism and lawlessness will only exacerbate the situation,” Governor Tessori said. He called on the public to refrain from violent protests and to allow law enforcement to handle such matters.
The governor highlighted the importance of maintaining law and order in the city. “We must ensure the rule of law at all costs. Provocation will only cause harm. No one should succeed in sowing discord among us,” he added.
Tessori also warned against elements trying to create unrest in the city. “Some forces are making an attempt to disrupt peace in Karachi, but their conspiracies will not succeed,” he said.
