Sindh’s Healthcare Competes Globally, Not Provincially: Bilawal Bhutto

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the healthcare system developed in Sindh is on par with global standards, adding that “our competition is not with any province but with the world.”

Bilawal participated in the convocation ceremony of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) in Larkana, where he distributed degrees among graduating students.

Addressing the ceremony, he said that after the 18th Constitutional Amendment, the PPP-led Sindh government focused extensively on strengthening the healthcare system across the province.

He claimed that the facilities available at Gambat Institute in Khairpur surpass those found in major hospitals of Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad, making it one of the finest medical institutions in the country.

Bilawal added that Sindh’s improved healthcare infrastructure is not only benefiting people from across Pakistan but is also attracting recognition at the international level.

He reiterated that the PPP has always prioritized public welfare, introducing transformative health initiatives to ensure modern medical services for people from all backgrounds.

Addressing the graduating students, Bilawal urged them to serve in all regions of the province without discrimination and uphold the values of humanity, saying that the medical profession carries a responsibility far beyond academic excellence.
