Sri Lanka Announces ODI and T20 Squad for Pakistan Tour

Sri Lanka Cricket has officially announced the ODI and T20 squad for Pakistan tour. The Sri Lankan team will play a three-match ODI series against Pakistan and a tri-nation T20 series involving Pakistan and Zimbabwe. According to the board, the team will depart from Colombo to Pakistan on November 8 to prepare for the upcoming matches.

Charith Asalanka will lead Sri Lanka’s white-ball teams, while Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Chamindu Mendis, Kamal Mishra, and Janith Liyanage have been included in both squads. In addition, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera, Asitha Fernando, and Ishan Malinga are part of both the ODI and T20 squads.

For the ODI squad, Lahiru Udara, Samara Wickramasinghe, Pawan Ratnayake, Jaffrey Vandersay, and Pramod Madhushan have been selected. The T20 squad will include Dasun Shanaka, Kusal Perera, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dushan Hemanthe, and Nowan Thushara. This ensures a balanced lineup for both formats.

The ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will start on November 11, while the tri-nation T20 series will begin on November 19. Both series are expected to be highly competitive and entertaining for cricket fans.
