Suniel Shetty expresses gratitude to Pakistani men for help in tough times

Renowned Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty recently shared an emotional story about one of the most difficult moments of his life, revealing his gratitude to a Pakistani man who helped him during a crisis.
Recalling the incident in a recent interview, Suniel Shetty explained that it took place in the United States after the tragic 9/11 attacks. At that time, he was in Los Angeles for the shooting of the film Kaante amid heightened security tensions.
A few days after the attacks, when the film’s shooting resumed, Suniel was entering his hotel. As he stepped into the elevator, he realised he had forgotten his room key. He then turned to an American man in the elevator and asked, “Do you have a key? I forgot mine.” Unfortunately, the man misunderstood the gesture and immediately ran out to alert the police.
Within moments, armed officers surrounded Suniel, handcuffed him, and forced him to kneel on the ground. The actor recalled feeling completely shocked and terrified, unable to comprehend what was happening.
At this critical moment, the hotel manager, who was of Pakistani origin, intervened. He informed the police that Suniel Shetty was a well-known Indian actor and posed no threat. Following this clarification, the police released him.
