Sources claim that Hamid Raza has been handed over to Faisalabad Police for further legal proceedings.

It is noteworthy that a day earlier, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) had issued arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and PTI’s provincial president Junaid Akbar in connection with the November 26 arson and violence case.

Following the court orders, the police had reached the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad to arrest the two PTI leaders, but the chief minister was not present at the location.
