Host nation India defeated Namibia by 93 runs in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, securing their second consecutive win in the tournament. The match was played in New Delhi, where India delivered a strong all-round performance with both bat and ball. With this result, India beat Namibia by 93 runs to continue their impressive run in the event.
Namibia won the toss and chose to field first, inviting India to bat. The Indian batting lineup made full use of the opportunity and posted a big total of 209 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Ishan Kishan scored 61 runs, while Hardik Pandya added 52 to strengthen the innings.
For Namibia, captain Erasmus was the most successful bowler, taking four wickets. Despite his efforts, the team struggled to contain India’s aggressive batting display, which set a challenging target of 210 runs.

In reply, Namibia failed to build partnerships and were bowled out for 116 runs in the 19th over. Varun Chakravarthy took three wickets, while Hardik Pandya claimed two, helping India dominate the match with disciplined bowling.
With this commanding victory, India beat Namibia by 93 runs and recorded their 10th consecutive T20 World Cup win. India had won eight straight matches in the 2024 edition and have now added two more victories in the current tournament. Their next big challenge will be against Pakistan on 15 February in Colombo.
