Temporary Drop in Water Levels at Head Panjnad Recorded

In Ali Pur tehsil, the water level at Head Panjnad, located on the Chenab River, has started to gradually decrease. According to the Irrigation Department, on Saturday, the inflow and outflow of water at the location were recorded at 422,552 cusecs.

Experts have indicated that this reduction in water levels could be temporary. However, continuous monitoring is essential to ensure timely action is taken to manage any potential flood situation.

Meanwhile, rescue operations are still ongoing at the Band Bosan flood point in the Sambhal area. The Rescue 1122 team responded promptly to an emergency call and successfully saved the life of a patient who had lost consciousness due to a sudden drop in blood sugar levels.

According to rescue officials, a 47-year-old woman, named Bharnawan Mai, collapsed after experiencing a severe drop in sugar levels. Upon receiving the distress call, the Rescue 1122 team swiftly reached the site by boat, transferred the patient to a safe location, and provided immediate medical assistance.
