Threat to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again become the target of a threatening message, warning of a planned attack on both him and his vehicle. The alarming message was sent to the official WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Transport Department by an unknown individual.

According to sources, the anonymous threat claimed that Salman Khan’s car would be blown up and that he would be killed at his residence. The message was received by the Worli-based office of the Transport Department, prompting an immediate alert to law enforcement agencies.

Following the incident, Mumbai Police registered an FIR at the Worli Police Station and launched a full investigation. Digital forensic teams and the cybercrime unit have been tasked with tracing the identity and location of the sender.

While Salman Khan already enjoys heightened security due to previous threats—most notably from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang—officials are now considering further tightening his protection in light of this latest threat.

The actor, who has received multiple death threats in recent years, is currently under Y+ category security, and authorities are taking the situation seriously to ensure his safety.
