Trump-Musk rift deepens: Uncertainty looms over Trump’s red Tesla

Washington: The ongoing dispute between U.S. President Donald Trump and Tesla/SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has taken a new twist, raising questions about the fate of a red Tesla Model S Trump purchased earlier this year.
According to U.S. media, Trump bought the car during a White House photo op to show support for Musk’s companies. The vehicle was last seen parked outside the West Wing, but reports now suggest Trump is considering selling or gifting the car amid rising tensions.
The feud escalated after Elon Musk accused Trump of being named in the controversial Jeffrey Epstein files and labelled him “ungrateful” on social media platform X. Trump responded by calling Musk “crazy” and claimed he was the one who advised Musk to step back from public office involvement.
