Turkish president Erdogan receives guard of honour welcome

Recep Tayyib Erdogan, the president of Turkey, arrived at the prime minister’s residence on Thursday.
The Turkish president has been welcomed warmly in Pakistan, where he is spending two days.
As he arrived at the PM House, a traditional dance from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and four other provinces was performed, as the flags of Pakistan and Turkey were raised on Constitution Avenue.
The distinguished visitor was greeted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and the two exchanged kind words.
On this occasion, the national anthems of both nations were played.
The Turkish president was given a guard of honour by a well-groomed unit of Pakistan’s military.
