US delegation meets Army Chief, expresses desire for cooperation on mineral development

A high-level US delegation met Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir at #on Wednesday. The US is seeking cooperation on mineral development.
According to details, a statement issued by the ISPR said that the US delegation was led by Senior Bureau Official Eric Meyer. The Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum was discussed during the meeting with Army Chief Asim Munir.
Eric Meyer said that the US administration is looking for cooperation with Pakistan on mineral development. The US delegation also expressed interest in investing in Pakistan.
The ISPR said in a statement that practical progress and the regional security situation were also discussed in the meeting. It was agreed to increase partnership between the government and the private sector at the meeting.
