US President reiterates statement about downing five planes

Donald Trump has once again claimed that five fighter jets were shot down during the recent Pakistan-India skirmishes, calling India’s so-called “Operation Sandoor” a complete failure.
While addressing Republican lawmakers, Trump said:
“If I hadn’t stopped that war, it could have turned into a nuclear disaster.”
He further claimed credit for preventing full-scale war between Pakistan and India, stating he warned both countries that if they didn’t stop fighting, America would cut off trade ties.
