“We can resume talks if the government meets our demands,” says Gohar Ali Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has stated that the party is willing to resume talks with the government if their demands are met, particularly the formation of a judicial commission.
Speaking to the media outside the Parliament House, Gohar Ali Khan explained that negotiations with the government had been put on hold. “We had only two demands, but no action was taken to form a judicial commission within the seven days,” he said, adding that seven days was enough time to announce the commission.
He emphasized that if the government forms a judicial commission to investigate the incidents of May 9 and November 26, PTI would reconsider resuming talks.
A day earlier, Gohar Ali Khan had said that Imran Khan had instructed the party to withdraw from the dialogue due to the government’s delay in forming the judicial commission. “We gave the government a seven-day deadline, but there has been no progress in forming the commission,” he added.
