West Indies Beat Pakistan by 2 Wickets in Thrilling T20 Match

In a nail-biting finish, West Indies defeated Pakistan by 2 wickets in the second T20 match in Lauderhill, Florida. Pakistan batted first and gave the hosts a 134-run target. The West Indies chased it down on the final ball, scoring 135 runs for 8 wickets in their 20 overs.
Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat. However, their innings struggled as they posted only 133 runs for 9 wickets. Hasan Nawaz was the top scorer with 40 runs. Captain Salman Ali Agha added 38, and Fakhar Zaman contributed 20. The rest of the batting order failed to deliver.
West Indies bowler Jason Holder was outstanding. He took 4 crucial wickets and later helped seal the win with the bat. In the final over, he hit the winning boundary on the last ball. Gudakesh Motie scored 28, and Shai Hope made 21, while Holder and Roston Chase added 16 runs each.
Pakistan’s bowling effort pushed the game to the wire but fell just short. Despite the low target, the West Indies faced pressure. Holder’s composed finish turned the tide in their favour. The series now stands level at 1-1, with one game to go.
Earlier, Pakistan had won the first match of the three-game T20 series by 14 runs. Batting first, they scored 178 for 6. Saim Ayub top-scored with 57 runs. Fakhar Zaman added 28, and Hasan Nawaz made 24. West Indies, in reply, managed only 164 for 7 wickets.
The third and final T20 match will be played tomorrow.
