Actress Mishi Khan expressed deep sorrow and strongly condemned the violence inflicted on former stage actress Nargis. She said that the brutal domestic violence Nargis faced was both tragic and shameful. Mishi Khan labelled Nargis’s husband a “beast” and emphasised that such individuals should be brought before the law.

The actress further expressed her disappointment, questioning the way some mothers are raising sons who are proving to be worse than demons. She appealed to the public to raise their voices for Nargis and all women who are victims of domestic abuse.
