In the final of the World Championship of Legends, the Pakistan Champions posted a total of 195/5 in 20 overs, setting a 196-run target for the South Africa Champions.

Sharjeel Khan was the top scorer with 76 runs, while Umar Amin contributed 36. For South Africa, Hardus Viljoen and Wayne Parnell took 2 wickets each.

Pakistan reached the final after receiving a walkover against India, who refused to play the semi-final. South Africa secured their spot by edging out Australia by just 1 run in a nail-biting semi-final.

Mohammad Hafeez is leading the unbeaten Pakistan side, while AB de Villiers captains South Africa. Pakistan had already defeated South Africa during the group stage.

Ahead of the final, Shahid Afridi expressed full confidence in the team, saying, “There will be bowling, there will be fielding — InshaAllah we’ll win the final.” Though not playing due to fitness, Afridi said he’s actively motivating and guiding the team.

He added he would’ve loved to play against India and praised the team’s fighting spirit and Hafeez’s leadership.
